Held at our Roseville, Minnesota campus, the AAAOM Continuing Education program is available for practitioners who have completed an accredited degree program for Acupuncture and/or Oriental Medicine, or for advanced students. It is possible that these courses may qualify for CEU credit, but there can be no assurance that this will be the case for all courses offered under this program. Full details for this program will be provided upon class registration, and for CEU credit students should be prepared to provide evidence of graduation from an accredited program or licensure as determined by law.
Advanced Practitioner Seminar Series
Over the last fourteen years, AAAOM faculty members have brought their skills and knowledge to this country for the benefit of our students, patients, alumni, and the wider community we all serve. Each of our faculty members is a storehouse of information regarding the theory and practice of Chinese medicine. Now, AAAOM is initiating an exceptional series of seminars which enable our highly-trained practitioners to impart their skills to other acupuncturists in focused training sessions.
Advanced Practitioner seminars are constructed as a series of ten 4-hour seminars on each of the following three subject areas:
- Techniques for Essential Acupuncture Points
- Essential Techniques for Pain Conditions
- Essential Techniques for Common Health Conditions
The first three Advanced Practitioner seminars will be offered on February 25th & 26th. Subsequent seminars will be offered on a monthly basis during the academic year. Each four-hour seminar is equivalent to four CEU credits.
