OPEN HOUSES American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM) hosts our next two Open Houses on Sunday, March 4th, and Sunday, March 18th, 2012, each from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. As the only independent acupuncture school in Minnesota, we pride ourselves on the quality and depth of our Master's degree and certificate programs, and we invite anyone who is interested in acupuncture and Oriental medicine to spend the afternoon with us. Attendees will be given a tour of the school, see an acupuncture treatment first-hand, and receive informational presentations by AAAOM's staff and faculty members, outlining the acupuncture program at our school and the exciting opportunities available in the field of Oriental medicine today. After the presentations, there will be an informal get-together with AAAOM faculty and staff members. Tea and refreshments will be served. Open House presentations are an excellent opportunity for prospective students or anyone who is interested in exploring the field of alternative medicine to get a lot of information in a short space of time. Participants get a feeling for what attending AAAOM will be like for them, and how acupuncture training can open new career avenues or enhance their current practice.
